I had an incredible time at this hotel, surrounded by breathtaking views and enjoying delicious meals crafted with local ingredients. The hospitality was unparalleled, making us feel right at home. Although the location was perfect for a serene getaway, it’s quite remote, which might not suit everyone’s preference. Overall, a fantastic experience, especially for families and horse lovers!
My experience at the Vilani Hotel was truly unforgettable. The combination of fantastic outdoor activities and breathtaking nature made it a unique getaway. The hospitality from Manolis and Sabine was heartwarming, making every moment feel special. The only minor downside was that the riding terrain could be challenging at times, but this only added to the adventure. Overall, an exceptional stay in the heart of Crete!
Our stay at Velani Hotel was simply unforgettable. The breathtaking scenery and the unique experience of riding horses through the stunning landscapes of Crete were highlights of our holiday. The hospitality from Manolis and Sabine was exceptional, making us feel like part of their family. Although the journey to the hotel involves an interesting dirt track, the serene atmosphere and lovely surroundings make it worthwhile. I would rate it as a fantastic getaway for families, especially those who adore nature and horses.
Our stay was absolutely delightful! We were surrounded by breathtaking scenery and enjoyed the peaceful ambiance of the hotel. The rooms were well-maintained and perfectly suited for our needs. Dining was a highlight with delicious, authentic Cretan cuisine made from local ingredients. However, the gravel road leading to the hotel was a bit challenging, and I wish there were more options for activities on-site.

The hospitality from Manolis and Sabine made all the difference, as they were genuinely invested in making our visit memorable. The only downside was that the Wi-Fi wasn't included, which I found a bit inconvenient during our stay, but the amazing dining experience more than made up for it.
